Pretty Instant & REX Overview

We put this resource together as a reference for REX team members. Our goal at Pretty Instant is to make booking a photographer for each REX property as seamless as possible. As we continue to work together we hope to use your feedback to continue streamlining the experience. Please contact us on Slack or by emailing am@prettyinstant.com if you have any questions at all!

Your Pretty Instant Dashboard can be accessed at my.prettyinstant.com. The REX team currently has one shared login to view the current status of each booking and to review photo galleries of each completed shoot.

The REX Booking Log is a Google Sheet that contains every REX booking submission. It is updated each week by EOD Monday. Most of the info in this spreadsheet is also available in the Pretty Instant dashboard, however it also includes a summary tab which charts all monthly activity for the REX team and notes the remaining hours of each contract renewal. We created our Slack support channel to streamline communication between all REX and Pretty Instant team members. You can request an invite by emailing am@prettyinstant.com.

Your Account Managers are Shef Reynolds, Jackie Rozett, Jeremy Needham, & Chris Cave. They can be contacted via Slack or you can ping the entire team tagging @am in your message.

We are available M-F, 8 AM to 6 PM ET and someone is on call each weekend for urgent matters.

As part of our agreement REX receives a 10% discount on our standard residential real estate photography rate. Each booking is billed at $179.10 per hour.

For bookings that are outside of the current markets listed above, and that require a photographer to drive more than 100 miles round trip, a $.56 per mile “extended mileage fee” will be applied to the booking and the REX credit card on file will be charged at the end of each month. Pretty Instant will discuss any such fees via Slack for approval prior to staffing a photographer. Pretty Instant will on-board a photographer if the frequency of work in these surrounding areas increases.

The cancellation & reschedule policy is effective as soon as a photographer is staffed and REX receives their contact details. The full policy can be reviewed here.

As part of the Pretty Instant partnership, REX receives 5 complimentary reschedule credits with the renewal of the agreement. The usage of these credits are noted on the Bookings tab of the REX Booking Log. This will also be noted on the quote tab of each Shoot Overview of rescheduled bookings.

How much notice is needed to book a photographer?
This typically depends on the market. In Los Angeles we can typically staff a booking with 24 hours notice. In San Diego we ask for 48 hours notice and in New York and Austin we ask for 72 hours notice. If none of our photographers are available we will ask for additional availability ASAP.

How do I reschedule, cancel, or adjust a booking?
We're happy to help! Either click the "Request Changes" button in your Shoot Overview or send us a message on Slack and reference the four character booking code.

Do your photographers work on the weekends and holidays?
Typically, yes! Our photographers are typically available 7 days a week, however we are unable to guarantee their availability. To check availability please submit a booking and we will let you know ASAP.

Can I contact my photographer with questions?
Yes! As soon as your booking is confirmed we will send over your photographer's name and contact details. Feel free to touch base with them at this time, however, if you need to update the booking itself please contact the Pretty Instant team directly.

How many photos can I expect per property?
This varies depending on the size of the property, so we are unable to guarantee the number of files you receive.

What type of editing do you do?
Our standard editing process includes color correction and white balance adjustments. We are happy to do further retouching where necessary and can provide a quote for the additional editing at your request. Please contact us for details.
